What Makes a Good Pub?
We dive into pub history with an official pub historian on the next Brewing After Hours and chat with industry professionals about their favorite pubs around the world.
I’m sure a lot of you are feeling restless about your local pubs during this past year. I am too. Which is why we thought we’d take you back in time to some of the oldest pubs in the world and also chat with some beer industry professionals about their favorite pubs. I chat with Pub Historian (YES, the dream job!!) Liz Garibay, founder of the Chicago Brewseum about pub history and how alcohol plays such a huge part in a city’s culture. A great preview of our conversation can be found over at Hop Culture here where they interviewed Liz at historic Chicago pub Old Town Ale House (opened in 1958), where you can also most likely find her (pre-pandemic).
Until the episode is live Monday, here are a few videos to get you excited for it.
